Blizzard 2060/2040 SCSI IDE HDD
Hi.
![]() I fought all day with my 68-pin 9,1 GB Quantum Atlas IV drive to connect it to Fast SCSI 2 on BLIZZARD 2040 (by 68>50 pin adapter) and I could not, straneg... because in my Oktagon 2008 it works. Anyway, I came to the conclusion that the best solution would be to buy an IDE>SCSI adapter and connect IDE hard disk to Blizzard 2040/2060. Has anyone tried this combination? Works good? And disk speed? |

I'm using an AEC-7720 SCSI-IDE adapter with my Cyberstorm MK2, which uses the same SCSI controller as the 2060, and it works perfectly with a SanDisk Extreme III CF card. Performance is good, more or less identical to the Fastlane Z3 I used before.
