WinUAE became extremely responsive
Is it just me or WinUAE 201 is much more responsive than any previous version?

There should be nothing that makes 2.0.1 more responsive than 2.0.0..

well for my part, it appears that indeed winuae get faster one release to another.
the more you correct bugs toni, the better it runs for me. |

I noticed WinUAE got faster, but that's probably because I got a new computer

Every single version have always performed well and run fast enough, there were some slowdown during decrunchflicker a while back.
Only problem I have with the last few versions is startup speed - after WinUAE window is opened I have a black screen for like 10 seconds, and it doesn't react to my warpmode key, so I guess emulation isn't started. Other times it starts directly (grey scale right away). I've tried to relate it to the startup of some drive, but the only option would be if it "sometimes" spins up the DVD drive. |

Obviously it does not happen here -> start with log window open and mark the log position when it pauses. ("winuae -log -logflush", logflush is important. windowed mode)
