Would be a bit annoying if you were then to get relegated straight away don't you think?

I actually still have my 1st ever joystick i ever had and used with speedball. Its a Quickshot but not a python, but the top botton is busted. However I got promotion using my brand new Python. I just love pythons despite the fact ive owned so many over the years due to the fact they braek

Same here lol

Don't wanna sound like an ass but I don't remember the last time I lost a div2 game...and only the damn super nashwan and fatal justice are giving me a hard time once in div1!

That game is just so good anyways, played it probably too much

Congratz gordon none the less

The same strategy works to beat every team for me - get the score multiplier twice, get a few easy points from the stars or bounce domes, use the hot-ball thing to get some easy goals, max out your teams speed and power and buy/upgrade your centre forward as much as possible, then just smash your way up to the goal each time and you'll beat all the teams pretty easily.

I can't remember ever losing a match to be honest! In an interview, one of the Bitmap Bros said that if you could beat Super Nashwan by more than about 20 you were doing well - I beat most teams by 100-200 points easy using the above method! Including the division one teams.

yup, that's about the same strategy i'm using. run to the multipliers but then I don't use the hot ball that much - actually I know precisely the spot to shoot a diagonal shot in an angle the goalkeeper will not get 9 out of 10 times so I quite abuse it.

Once you got a decent CF and MF, it gets easy to make hundreds of points in a game!

Or you can do my slight variant of that; Learn the art of launching a tackle when they leap up to get the ball or pick it up. At kick off, tackle just when they leap up to get the ball; run to the ball multiplier ramp with the centre forward; throw it high to drop just onto it and send it through in the direction of your opponents side of the pitch, and follow it... when he runs in to try and leap up to get the ball, or to pick it up the other side tackle him, the ball comes out the multiplier, so grab the ball and hit a star with it. Send it back through the multiplier. When an opponent comes up from below to try and get it, tackle him as he picks up, then send it high and back towards the stars. Pretty quickly, if still using the central forward, you'll get either the full stars, at which point dash across and score, or an injury of one of their players off... either way, it's back to the kick off, so wait until he leaps and connect a rushing blow again... then buy an ultra hard CF and injure them off even quicker!
