Completely Removing IDE-FIX Express Files

Hello,

I attempted to install my CF card on to an IDE-FIX w/Express configuration tonight. Everything went fine and everything was working without any of the software from the disk. Read that to say, my system still booted fine, I don't know if there were any performance changes.

After installing the IDE-Fix Express software it made a bunch of changes and hung looking for a CD (i don't have one) so I rebooted. Upon attempted reboot the system failed to boot from the CF card.

I was able to remove the express card and left the IDE-Fix interface and was able to get back into my CF card but with an error:

"Can't find IDE-fix Express Board"

Which makes sense because it is out. I replaced my S:startup-sequence and s:user-startup from backup (at least I did that) and I ran the uninstall routine from the Ide-Fix directory but I still get this error.

Can anyone tell me what to restore from backup or delete entirely to make this go away? Any ideas on why installing the software made my CF card fail to boot?

Thanks,

After running the uninstall program, look inside the startup-sequence for IDE-fix related lines (usually the very first ones).

After check the WBStartup drawer to any possible software in there.

Expect to find lots of unusable .device's inside DEVS: folder, too.

***FACEPALM*** yeah, it was in WBStartup... Sometimes you get to thinking so technically that you skip the little things! Cheers!
