ECS Screen Modes in CDTV WB 1.3???

I have upgraded all of the chips in my CDTV to ECS and was wondering if the ECS PAL Screen Modes could be activated in WB1.3.

I have a kickswitch but it currently doesn't work as I am waiting for a EPROM Burner to make new CDTV Boot Roms. When I tried it starting my CDTV with the Kickstart 2, the system sort if started with a much higher screen resolution than you get in WB1.3.

So, anybody know a way to force 1.3 to a higher general resolution?

Maybe the ole moned (from Aminet) can edit the monitor "proprieties" for you. Don't remember if it runs on 1.3.

Looks like Moned only runs on 3.0... at least that's what it says on my Aminet CD

IIRC, new screen modes will be accepted directly by 1.3 pending on the amount of chip memory you have.

Yeah, I've got 2MB Chip RAM so that shouldn't be a problem. I just don't know how to tell WB to go to that resolution. I should be able to do 1440 x 566 or 1280 x 512 with PAL ECS mode.

OS ECS (SuperHires/programmed modes) support was added in 2.0.
