There seems to be some strange melted paper / plastic covering several components (voltage regulator, crystal oscillator, ROM) on the CSMKII showing signs of browning at the edges??
Some sort of warranty sticker? |

LOL my friend, i need many things (including therapy if you ask my wifie! LOL) alas i wont be seening any pocket money for a while (gotta spend it on travel for Uni  ) so i shall look lustfully at the Picasso II, there will be another time and then my A2000 will reign supremes

Yep, that's just the warranty sticker that goes over the oscillator (to warn people from overclocking).
