Nice piano in there I'm not into Trance very much, but I can hear the effort you put into this one. So even if I don't like the style too much a big from me

Lol, you kidding?

2:33 that melody is same as the panflute in original song.
3:28 voicy sound is same as beginpart of original song.
Piano part was my own inspiration.

Actually every melody except the piano part is from Dogs of War, only i have layered it, so each part is a build-up to the complete Dogs of War song.

Could be about the piano-thing, i mean there are like millions of trance-songs floating around. So almost every melody sounds like another one i guess. But i did not take the piano part out of another song even tho it may sound like another melody from another song.

Its really hard to make something truly unique when it comes to melodies because there are so many already nowadays.

How about the title tune from Last Ninja 2? I played gimbal's remake yesterday and I like the bass in that one very much I attach it so you know which one I'm talking about. It would be cool to hear a remix of that tune

Try Milky Tracker, it's better than SkaleTracker (better=more similar to Fast Tracker 2 ) http://www.softpedia.com/screenshots/MilkyTracker_1.png

No thanks. I tried MilkyTracker and I rather use FT2 in DosBox SkaleTracker has support for VST plugins and that adds much to a Tracker MilkyTracker has also 'rearranged' the GUI of FT2 which I find quite unusuable. Ah well, maybe it's just me

You will love Renoise, it has everything you need in a tracker + more.

only 50 euro's you get ASIO support , rendering to WAV.
Tracker with endless amount of tracks, samples, vst and vsti support. really good sound. full MIDI support. Multi CPU-core support. and best of all , it can still load Protracker MOD files really well. Sampler, External Audio Recording, its for Windows Mac and Linux.

You can also switch to FT2 style tracking. all the keys on keyboard will function like Fasttracker 2. and there are some Amiga buttons in it to make it more compatible with MOD files.

Songs / modules

  • .xrns Renoise song open format
  • .rns Renoise song <= V1.5.x
  • .ntk Noisetrekker 3.22 module
  • .xm Fasttracker 2 extended module
  • .it Impulse Tracker module
  • .mod Amiga module - M.K., M!K!, FLT4, 4CHN formats
  • .mid MIDI files (including MIDICC commands).
Well the features list is endless. not trying to make an advertisement here , still your own choice of course but i have experience with renoise since version 1.0 and its awesome for so little money. imho i trying many many tracker but this one just does it for me i dont want anything else anymore

You can try demo for free, it has everything except ASIO support and no rendering to WAV. but everything else is fully functional to test it out.
