Running Pinball Dreams and Fantasies from HD inside WinUAE

Does anyone know of any HD-installers for these, or if it's in any way possible to get WHDLoad and related installers to work under WinUAE?

Thanks

You can get the preinstalled WHDLoad versions here : http://www.whdownload.com/games.php?name=p&sort=0&dir=0
I haven't tested them, but the only thing that could prevent you from playing these with WinUAE would be that the slave requires a registered WHDLoad

I did try WHDLoad and it first gave some various errors while installing, and then the utility which was supposed to read the disks kept saying it couldn't sync to any of the tracks. I tried a few different (supposedly uncracked) diskfiles with no luck.

I'll try your link as well and register if it works, Cyber, thanks!

Most times this is because of cracked version which is unsupported.

Just to confirm, a registered copy of WHDLoad is not required for either game despite what it says in Pinball Dreams Slave's README.

Also note that there is an alternative hard disk loader as detailed in this thread which includes all the tables from both games, you can download it from here.

wrong i'm afraid. only 3 of the 4 tables on Pinball Dreams are playable without registering.

WHDLOAD Installer slave's requires the *ORIGINAL* disks to make its image's from, Original disks that are 100% readable.

[edit] but I just want to add, WHDLOAD is *WELL WORTH* the registration fee, it helps the author stay focused on working with the software, one of the very few programs actively being worked on for Amiga's.
