Sysinfo and PC disk reading software

Hi all

I have an A3000 but have no way of getting software onto it. I am trying to get a SCSI CDROM and/or a network card but at the moment i'm limited to floppies... of which I have zero Amiga ones!

Would some kind person send me a copy of Sysinfo and some PC disk reading software so I can start to transfer stuff from my PC onto my Amiga using the floppy drive. I live in the UK and would really appreciate it. I am willing to pay the cost of postage with a PayPal payment.

Thanks in advance

What OS are you running on the Amiga?

CrossDOS is included in Workbench from 2.04 (I think, someone else can correct me) onwards...with it Workbench can read PC DOS formatted floppies

Just remember that the PC only formats HD floppies to 720k, so ADF transfers aren't a possibility, as an ADF is 880k.

PZ.

*EDIT* - Another thought...a cheap IDE CD-ROM, or even better DVD-ROM drive coupled with a Buddha card would be a much better use of your money than buying a crusty old SCSI CD-ROM drive. You'll also have the ability to add another three IDE devices to your A3000!

Is this the one:

If so then consider it ordered!! You are dead right about not buying a SCSI drive that might not even work when I have hundreds of IDE devices (CD, DVD, Hard drives, ZIP drives etc...) lying around. Thanks very much for the tip off!
