No Second Prize save disk

Well, how do I make No Second Prize game save disk ?
Would an empty AmigaDOS-formatted floppy/.adf-file do ?

I seem to remember that the save function in the Ministry crack was not working. So if you're using that version it might explain your problems.

From the Readme of the WHD version:

"- load/save highscores and game for registered users only"

That's why alexh was asking

You could buy a trace machine? Or register WHDload?

No need to buy a trace machine. Most protected thalion games were written using an amiga. lol !

No second prize can be copied on amiga if you know the disk geometry (syncwords, sector size, track size,etc..).

This ADF image was done with the help of Powercopy from Geoff Lorere.

But the best option would be doing the decent thing and registering the wonderful WHDLoad, wouldn't it?

yes some games were protected with weak sectors (trace machine required for those), and this game is not using that.

Only a track 0 side 1 with a special sync and can copy it with sector nibble.

But i prefer parameter copy, with it you have the exact disk geometry, and then you
end with a perfect image.

many games are supported this way with powercopy.

I naively assumed everybody did. Best money I've spent on my Amiga yet.

@dlfrsilver

When I said I was interested.. I meant I was interested in learning how to extract the disk geometry from the disk and how to use PowerCopy

Powercopy has a database of disk layouts? Or does it try lots?
