Keyboard question (for Jope? ;)

I was wondering if a Comodore Plus/4 keyboard is similar to that of an A1200.

I was hoping to swap out some keys out of one I have spare with those of my 1200.

I think it's pretty much the same as a C128 keyboard.

Actually, it doesn't look at all as a C128 keyboard, it's more similar to my A1200 keyboard.

Would a C128 keyboard work, if the case with the plus/4 is not possible?

I answered this on IRC, but yes, a C-128 keyboard can be gutted and the keys inserted into an Amiga keyboard.

You need to swap both the keycaps and the stems, there's three or four different kinds of cap/stem combinations. :-)

Anything is better than the TAC-2 firebuttons.

I still don't understand why MikroBITTI magazine in .fi gave it a top score in their huge joystick test. :-)

Datormagazin magazine in Sweden gave the Tac2 first price for several years IIRC.

I improved the firebuttons somewhat by raising the bottom contact part by placing some wire under it, made it much easier to fire without too much preassure on the buttons.
