Boo! /Microprose
I remember reading a preview in The One back in 1995.
The game seemed pretty complete at the time. Found this page, in case, someone don't know what game I'm talking about. http://www.angelfire.com/yt2/stuwhyt...se/boo/Boo.htm sadly it never got released. |

Amiga will never die!
|
This is one of the Amiga Games That Weren't that I've been wanting to find out more of the most. I had that issue of The One, and was excited that we were going to be getting a nice, polished looking console style platformer... but of course it never came out.
Thanks for the link, JohnnyBeGood! |

Found some info here in swedish computer magazine Datormagazin https://img42.com/QZVlU and here http://www.everythingamiga.com/2016/...u-mu-land.html
The text from Datormagazin in english: Keith Stovel, the man behind the Danger Mouse, has helped to design the characters to the game Boo. The game will reportedly become a platform game with rollplaying ambitions. Software house Microprose is currently developing a platform game called Boo, which it claims will bring something new to the platform industry. The game also has some role-playing ideas thanks to all the puzzles and ingenious devices to be solved. There is such a variety of items such as magic mirrors and garlic bombs that you must use in order to solve some problems. During the production of the game have been taken using the cartoonist and animator Keith Boot (creator and designer of the early cartoons with Steel Mouse) to get really well-made animatlons of the game's characters. The game contains very little violence, mainly because the game's protagonist, the little ghost-like creature Boo, do not fight without scaring their opponents by shouting BOO if they get too close. Together with Mummy Boy, Werewolf Boy and some other '' monster kids "Boo will scare away hostile cows that threatens to take over the world and eat all the grass. Boo will be released for the Amiga in the spring, and the A1200 and CD32 version of the game will be released short after the regular Amiga verslon. Last edited by fryguy; 12 March 2017 at 18:02. |

"Steel Mouse" refers to "Danger Mouse", of course.
