Is this any good?
Would this be any good for an otherwise std 1200? Or does it need anything extra that isn't in the auction?

It doesn't need anything extra. If you end up getting a blizzardvision at some point, that has a compatible monitor switcher connected to it. Looks like permanently.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it with a stock A1200. |
