Collecting Crack Intros ?

A very difficult question:

There's a way to "extract" a crack intro and "put" it somewhere and
then "collect" several crack intros in a "single" disk collection ?

I don't think this is possible (it would be cool), however .....

Good bye, guys

You can copy intro/cracktro from ADF with ADF View if it isn't N-DOS disk and put it on blank ADF. With this program you can also create S folder and put in it startup-sequence file which you can create & edit in Windows Notepad.

A project like that was started for WHDLoad with Galahad writing the menu system. It was never finished properly, and only about 5 groups had a menu with up to 12 crack intros in it.

From memory I did all the Razor 1911 intros I could find, I think about 12...

                         __________________________

   Introduction
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Runner consists of a selection menu for running up to 18 programs.
However keep in mind that it does not work in multitasking, in effect it
is intended as a floppy disk boot menu.

   System requirements
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Runner should run on any PAL Amiga (under Kickstart 1.3 or below, you
must have the DOS command Run in the C: directory).

   Installation
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Copy Runner anywhere you want (the C: directory is a good place). The
file Runner.menu (the menu file) must be placed in the directory from
which you start the program or the SYS:, S: or ENV: directory.

   Usage
   ŻŻŻŻŻ
Runner can only be started from a CLI/Shell window.
After you run the program, a menu made up of a title and 18 buttons
appears. The labels and the command lines of the buttons are read from
the text file Runner.menu, editable through your preferred text editor.
It must have the following form:

      Title
Label 1=Command line 1 ([Run|Execute] Program name [arguments])
Label 2=Command line 2 ([Run|Execute] Program name [arguments])
        "
        "
        "
Label 18=Command line 18 ([Run|Execute] Program name [arguments])

You can select the buttons by moving the mouse up and down. The programs
can also be run by pressing the key corresponding to the letter appearing
on the left of each button.
By pressing the left mouse button (or the corresponding key) you execute
the program reverting to the menu after you quit the program itself. By
pressing the right mouse button (or Shift + the corresponding key) you
execute the program without reverting to the menu (this is necessary in
some cases). By pressing both mouse buttons (or Esc) you simply quit
   Runner.

   Guarantee
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
The program has been tested several times, but its reliability is not
guaranteed at 100%. I (the author) do not consider myself responsable for
loss or damage of data as consequence of the use of the program. Use
   Runner at your own risk.

   Copyright
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
The program is CARDWARE, therefore it is freely distributable on
condition that it is always accompanied by all the files in this archive.
The whole archive must not be modified in any way. If you think Runner is
useful, let me know by sending me a postcard (preferred) or an E-mail
   message.

   History
   ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
      1.0 - First release.

2.0 - Increased the number of buttons (from 13 to 18).
           - Now you can run the programs by pressing a key.
           - Changed colors and font.
           - Now the menu file is searched in the S: directory too.

2.01 - Tried to avoid the screen fluttering when the menu appears and
             disappears.

2.1 - Extended the font (now all 256 characters are available).
           - Now the menu file is searched in the SYS: and ENV: directories
             too.

      2.11 - Some minor changes.

2.12 - If a mouse or screen blanker was running and you started
Runner from a screen with a resolution different than PAL, the
program screen could result severely distorted.
In the Zone. Please remember that you can not/should not delete square symbol in end of each line.

Some and most will work on a base A500 Nofastram, others will need Fastmem, or 1Mb chip, or an AGA machine a 1.2 rom the 68040 etc. etc.

If you're using a real miggy for this then you're snookered, it'll be mostly trial and error.

btw. What machine do you own?

Well, if you know what the cracktros are called, you could upload my excel list here http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=56359 to determine what configs you need to run the cracktros. Most base A500 cracktros should work on a base AGA machine, but there will be some that will fail.

I cannot, at present, upload my cracktros as it's still currently WIP. Once it's finished, it'll be up for grabs on the EAB file server, but don't hold your breath

EDIT: A great way to search for the cracktros is to find out the CRC32 of the files you have and search for them in the spreadsheet, nice and speedy

Sometimes Killaga or JST might work with gfx bugs

I have yet to find any old Amiga programs that will not run on my A1200 when I'm using The Ultimate Degrader and Enhancer.

Well, it's not on the file server so I guess it could be a rare item. Unless it's hiding somewhere else that only TCD knows where

I dont have the version with this intro.
Again you are looking for a good crack?
Then you probably dont need the ADF with this intro, its the "Skid Row" crack.
