Blue startup screen instead of purple

I finally got around to making my own RGB (auto switching) SCART lead last night and it works a treat!

The problem is, the screen has a blue tint to the picture (the boot up screen is blue instead of purple). I know it's not the new SCART lead because it's the same through the composite lead. The revelation came from when I forced the SCART lead up which then gave me a perfect picture. I can't remember if I bought it like that or whether I messed it up.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like a pin responcible for RED has a loose or poor connection somewhere. Must be internal if it's the same from both composite AND video sockets.

That's my best guess anyway... I'm sure Zetr0 or alexh might have another opinion

It's no laughing matter boys

I started building the cable at 10pm last night and ended up going to bed at 3am this morning. And I'm at work today.

Oh, is there a way to rewire the red connection directly? I can't even connect the amiga via. Composite now because I snipped off the connector thinking that it was the culprit.
