[WANTED] A570 CDRom

[WANTED]

Amiga A570 CDRom from Amiga 500/+

If you have one and no longer require it, PM me as I am very interested in one. Australia preferred but will consider overseas if the price is right.

Thanks

I should point out that these are quite rubbish.

The Amitrix SCSI-TV hard drives for these cost a fortune

The RAM expansions are limited to 2Meg upgrades and are very rare.

A GVP HD8+ Impact Series II with 8Meg FAST RAM and an exteral SCSI CD / DVD drive is much better.

Oh so negative, not after function, just after the A570 and since they are so rubbish as you describe I should get one cheap!

Ah.

Are you yet another Amiga collector freak (no offense) who just wants to "complete" their collection?

I fear you may have missed out on the whole Amiga experience

Functionality is everything.

Not at all, just want a cheap and easy CDRom option on an Amiga 500 and the A570 is the cheapest of all.

Collection freak's shit me cos all they do is drive the price up!

Nicely said.

Unfortunately with no extra RAM and no hard drive you'll find your A570 quite unusable. Coupled with only limited CDTV compatibility and that STUPID caddy system the "coolness" of the A570 soon wears off as you consign it to the back of your cupboard.

Jope is selling a GVP HD8+ that would work much better than an A570 if you added an external CD drive.
