Has anyone got a list of Amiga Graphics cards presented in order of power and usability? If so could you post it here please.

TIA

Keropi thanks for that. Tell me though how successful have people been in using a 040 PPC blizzard and BVision in the desktop A1200? Heat and space issues etc...

Also is a Blizzard PPC 160e+ 68040 with Bvision enough for games like Payback Quake Wipeout etc?

there are many that used bppc+bvision on desktops, without problems AS THEY SAY, I personally would not do that... on amiga.org, in the photo section there are pics that show these kind of setups and how they dealed with heat...
truth is, that 3D games in 1200 suck. payback is fine AFAIR, but quake, wipeout, hereticII etc where not made to play at 15-20fps... it is not worth it... though rtg makes GREAT nad HUGE improvement in OS...

well, yeah, since it is a PPC game...I cannot remember if it has a 68k port too, but it would CRAWL on 68k...
truth is, it's not that great game either...

you do understand that the bvision needs a bppc too, right?
because if u have a mediator busboard, then just add a voodoo3... tower your a1200, it will be better

Yup I know the Bvision meeds the Bppc. I just bought a Bppc.
Now,I either want a BVision or a mediator and Voodoo.

I am scared about building a tower though... Any good guides about?

quite frankly, the best advice I can give u is to get a tower made for amiga1200... messing with pc towers just sucks. too much work envolved...
maybe keep an eye on ebay for the Elbox power/winner tower ... u can have a mediator, a g-rex, a bvision, a zorro busboard... not all towers can take every busboard...

@Zetr0
That sounds like a great idea. Would be a good link to add to EAB's FAQ

Correction: Payback is a 68K game that may have a PPC version.

It plays very nicely on an 060, and is a GREAT game!
