I played this game recently, and I'm pretty sure I used "Operate briefcase" to open it.

Once you have opened the case, you need to "operate" the bottom of the case to reveal a secret compartment. Use the passport forger to create a passport with the same nationality as the one mentioned in the newspaper you bought (e.g. diplomatic relations have started between this country and XYZ).

One of the main probs I had with this game were the sub-games. I never got any further than the one where you are on the jet-ski and have to avoid sharks and other jet skis. These parts really spoil the game IMHO

Indeed, the sub-games just suck.
![]() Even a complete solution to the game doesn't seem to help on the matter... :thumbs_do |

Hear hear about operation stealth!!
A good game spoiled by the arcade sequences. I'd thought the "arcade" section in LSL3 was the worst ever 'til I encountered these. I don't know how, but I managed to complete the game despite those sub-games. Destroyed my mouse in the process though. At least Cruise for a Corpse gave you an option to avoid any "action sequences",(late in that game). |

Akira,
With Cruise for a Corpse, I haven't played the "action sequence" myself, but I read about it in a solution listed in "The One" magazine. Towards the end of the game when you've collected all the books & rearranged them in order in Niklos's cabin(where you start the game), it opens a secret door. According to the solution if you slide the soap it'll knock out a guy who slips on it. Apparently,(& I never tested this point), if you don't use the soap, you enter a fight sequence with the mafia guy using the mouse buttons for your punch & block keys. |

I got as far back then as the Stealth hangar control room at the end without help and couldnt get get any further!!. So i looked in a back Issue of ACE magazine and found the walkthrough. but i ALMOST did make without the help!.
I vaguely remember filling up a glass of water from one of those water dispensers, whilst wearing a funny outfit... lol.. then i go stuck. |

Great game. Best unofficial Bond game ever (at least in Europe, in US it was a bond game I think). The action sequences were sometimes too hard but on the whole very stylish and good game.. If I remember correctly I finished it as well eventually. Actually went to play it a few years ago and discovered my save disk was dead .. the pain...
