Question on Saving...

Hey im new to emulating, im finding WinUAE managable, yet im still not sure how to save and i was wondering if someone could help.

Ive managed to save/load on Soccer Kid, because that gives you the option. But how do i do it on Prince Of Persia? Is there some F button which does it for you? Im getting frustrated with my lack of knowledge

Any help would be superb

Whenever you want to save or load, press F12, misc and press Load state or Save state. Or just assign them to a key. I sometimes play with a gamepad and use left trigger for save and right trigger for load.

It didnt work. I got to the fourth level, saved state because i wasnt too confident doing a jump. Died. Loaded state and its almost like it took a screengrab of it, I cant move or anything.

Are you using ADFs or WHDLoad?

WHDLoad does not support save state.

Also, I noticed that you have to start loading the game, and then press load state, to properly load the game.

Not true.. I just load the state and as long as the adf's and roms haven't changed places on HD it works perfectly

I reckon there is some other demon at work here!
