Super Gridrunner

Does anyone have a copy of this that includes the intro? (see the screenshot at: http://hol.abime.net/2798/screenshot which is grabbed off my copy but is absent from both the cracked copies in TOSEC. )

My original copy had a virus on it when I bought it (sealed from shop back in the old days) . It is also protected so I can't make a working adf of it. My original version also displays a version date when booting (20/2/1990)

Stick out tongue My God

I've been looking for this game for almost six years. Apparently I didn't look very well. Even Jeff Minter himself couldn't help me name it, maybe because I told him it wasn't Gridrunner.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Six years? The 1997 date on the adf was suspicious . It's TOSEC, for awhile:
Grid Runner (1989)(Llamasoft)[cr OCL][a]

HOL too has merged Grid Runner and Super Grid Runner. So it appears to be correct, and it's indeed the same game.

That does not bring Galaxy further yet.
Close but no cigar.[tm]

I've got an extended-ADF imge of Super Gridrunner created from my original with rawread. If anyone's interested say so and I'll put it in the Zone.

Plays fantastic, thank you
I was almost sure that you would have to "crack" it, but apparently it also works without ... no ship crashes anymore. Well done.

But could you please dump this for SPS too, as Galaxy's original has a virus, and thus his image was rejected? Thanks.

from davidk's original:
Standard adf in the zone, as on real Amigas, extended ADFs cannot easily be written back to disk. (fully tested and working)
(Yes it needed one tiny tweak; now you can write a game image to your diskettes which is free of both viruses and any ugly crack intros )

My Amiga is currently packed away in a cupboard, and I don't have a lot of spare time. I will try to get around to doing this, but I've no idea when. Is there anyone in the UK who has the setup to do this?
