Best ported games & emus > A1200 030 system

I've tried the Doom port on the amiga, it runs alright, if you have it in a tiny screen...

I just wanted to ask, which are the best ports available for an Amiga 1200, 030 50hz 16mb fast, 2mb chip machine (with a harddrive) , and a 28" tv screen ;-)

Also, which emulators can run at reasonably full speed for the miggy ?

Hmm which version of Doom are you using?

I used ADoom when I had an A1200 with similar specs to yours (half the fast ram), and it ran at a similar speed to my 486 in fullscreen.

For this config, i agree with Firthy2002 that ADoom is fast enough.

And about emulators... well, it depends what you want to emulate. Most of 8bit machine emulators (e.g. NES, GameGear/Master System, GameBoy (old b&w one), ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, MSX...) should work fine for your config. But if you think about 16bit or more machines... forget it!

uh. it mightve been ADoom, I got it from back2roots if that means anything

So which emulators of that lot (8bits) would run at full speed? I remember hearing frodo is mainly for higher specs (than mine)
