How exactly is it displayed? Does WB start up and you get that as a requestor or what? Obviously if it couldn't display the mode then you wouldn't see the warning!

Can you get in to the 'early startup-menu' with both mouse buttons pressed during boot? Is it BVision or another gfx card in the tower? Have you got an Amiga video monitor?

ok, sorry its a pc monitor flat screen. The tower is fitted with a voodoo 5 5500 graphics card and thats when the error comes up.
If I use the normal amiga vga port and hold mouse buttons I do get boot menu but when workbench loads I get error asking for volume "ENV" and then it boots to standard workbench but if I double click on screenmode icon nothing happens, no errors or anything. the amiga is also fitted with scandoubler flicker fixer sorry for being vague but not sure what any of this does lol Thanks T |

If you get into the boot menu, boot without startup-sequence and delete sys
![]() Now reset and boot as usual. The Workbench should appear on the Amiga output. Now you should use Picasso96Mode or however it is called to adjust the frequencies to match your monitor's needs. Then use ScreenMode to choose one of the graphics cards modes. |
