Send a message via ICQ to Borg_Number_One
...in which way?
Would you like to transfer data between the cd32 and your amiga 600?

Probably, I dunno if the CD32 somes with a serial port or not. If it does I'd say you could probably make a CD with teh required stuff, but how would you transfer the first file into your amiga 600? That's teh biggest problem, always!

Hmm..

There used to be a boot CD for the CD32 that had the noreset patch and started sernet.. (the serial port is in the keyboard connector)

Then you need sernet on the A600's end so you can read CDs on the CD32.

The Amiga Developer CD has the required copyright file so you can burn your own bootable CD32 CDs..

However, you still need some bits on the A600 end that you obviously can't get there before you have the above stuff set up.

I'd say it's easier if you connect the null modem between the A600 and the PC in the first place and forget fiddling around with the CD32, unless you can find the nullmodem kit + CD + Amiga software for sale somewhere.

I found one on ebay......LooK...

Description

CD32 to Amiga networking cable with software on floppy for the Amiga side. I will throw in a self-booting cd with all the necessary cd32 software, although this is not part of the auction.

So, go ahead and buy it, then make sure to make an iso of the CD and an ADF of the floppy and then scan in the piece of paper that comes with it. :-)

You will need a USB->25-pin Serial adapter

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-2-0-to...item35bfb8aa85

You'd be mad to use that software... use AmigaExplorer, all you need on the Amiga side is any workbench disk.

Do you mean Download (x86) , Download (x64) or Buy - € 9.95 on Cloanto's Amiga Explorer page?

If you do, the first two are links to free download for those who already have a valid Amiga Forever or Amiga Explorer licence key because they have bought a previous version.

The third link is for those who have never previously bought either product and therefore have no licence key.

If you mean the drop-down box on the eBay listing page, then you will require the third choice (USB M to F RS232), which consists of a USB male plug (as found on mice, keyboards, key drives, etc.) to DB9 Female cable plus a DB9 Male to DB25 Female adapter, and select the cable length you want from the second drop-down box.

Edit: Wasn't that quick enough?

The device driver refuses to start. When I go into the Device Manager to examine its status, it says:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Not Enough Quota}
Not enough virtual memory or paging file quota is available to complete the specified operation.

I have two page files, one on each drive..Dam Windows 8..

Try Amiga Explorer, Trust me, it'll just work without all those error messages!

I just relised that this will only connect into the parallel port not the serial port on the amiga so the connection at the end is wrong..?? you seid to pick the last one at the end in the drop down box.. "USB M To F Rs232 Cable" so i need a male connector..??.. (this package is of parallel port only)DB25 Parallel Adapter.. this has pins sticking out so its male..
