you are totally right, BTTR says it works with aga30 configuration but there are no sprites.
Thanks a lot for the report. If the developers don't even know which game to fix, they can't implement fixes in the emulator code. Last edited by andreas; 09 September 2001 at 04:55. |

The version I have has nice, pretty spries, andreas.
BTTR config aga 30 works well in WinUAE r8.14 r3. I have uploaded the files in the ADF Zone. One of the better gravity shooters. Last edited by Fred the Fop; 17 October 2001 at 19:50. |

Fred has finally solved the puzzle.
Yes in fact, you MUST use WinUAE 0.8.14 or greater, then the sprites are visible. Does NOT work with 0.8.8 (sprite missing). |

Fred - several people have explained the double barrel screenshot thingie, so I will try.
I use Photoshop, but these instructions should be easy enough to adapt to any gfx program. Load the two screens you have (preferably a title screen and an in-game screen). For this example, I will assume we have two pictures at 320x256 each. Create a new picture (File/New) and make the dimensions 640x256 RGB. This is the same height, but double width. Go to the title pic and select all (Ctrl-A) and then copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl-C). Now go back to your new pic and paste that in (Ctrl-V) and then position it left justified. Repeat this step for the in-game pic, only right justify it. Flatten or whatever you have to do and save. If you are using Photoshop, you want to make sure to convert the Amiga screens to RGB first. After you have them pasted into the new pic and flattened and all, then convert to Indexed color. In most cases, it will give you an exact color palette transformation, but if not, just follow your instincts. |
