Question Assembly dev environment assistance requested

Hey friends, I recently acquired some old Amiga source code in assembly. I have zero experience in assembly other than trying to figure things out in Ghidra :P

I would love some help getting shown how to set up a suitable dev environment for the Amiga. My longer-term goal is to teach myself assembly, and this would really help. Thanks

Well you just need an assembler and assemble the sources you get. Maybe change some paths to datas.

I guess you have to be more specific about your preferences. First of all: where should this development environment be hosted? On a real Amiga? Windows, Unix, etc.?

Then, do you prefer integrated GUI-based environments, or a collection of shell-based tools for your personal needs?
