Expansion Board Diagnostics Status on A2286

So I have a A2286 bridge board that pops up the Expansion Board Diagnostics screen when the machine is powered up. The status of the board is 'Shut', which I'm afraid to say, my google-fu seems to turn up no information about. I thought that 'Dfct' was the status message when a board was bad? Any suggestions for where I can start with troubleshooting this?

Hrm. Okay, so it turns out there were some issues with a memory expansion board. Reconfiguring some jumpers on that has the status on the Bridgeboard set to 'OK', but now it's the classic 'Can't load Janus.library' issue. One step forward, two steps back.

Shut means it was told to shut up during the autoconfigure process. I understand from the second post that you didn't have enough Zorro 2 RAM free for the bridgeboard?

I don't think it's a memory issue. I have 2 MB of chipram and 112 MB on a BigRAM 2630.

To take the A2630 / BigRAM out of the equation, I also tried removing the A2630 completely, stuck in a SupraRAM with 6 MB, and tried to see if I could get it to run from the base 68000. That had the same 'Can't load Janus.library' message when I tried to run the various bridge board utilities.

If you have an a2630, are you also running enforcer or mmu libs?

Yeah, enforcer gets added to Startup-Sequence as part of the Janus software installation.
