C64 the Mysterious Cassette - la Cassetta del Mistero available now!

After several months of development, Darkage Software is proud to announce the release of "C64 - The Mysterious Cassette - La Cassetta del Mistero", a text adventure in italian and english languages for Amiga equipped with AGA chipsets!

The game was programmed by Colin Vella, with graphics and project management by Paolo D'Urso, music by the legendary Allister Brimble and was possible thanks to the direction of Carlo Pastore.

The adventure is published by Darkage Software in digital download and physical edition, this one with a beautiful box containing a handy USB stick and an A3 poster.

Very nice surprise, gonna get it ASAP !

Oh, just wondering, are the GFX made with AI tools ? I don't mean to denigrate, there are great stuff done with AI, as the latest Peter Gabriel's videoclips.

Great surprise to see Allister on board, too ! <3

Cheers !

The soundtrack is indeed very cool

Ron Gilbert said that he created the Maniac Mansion interface because he was tired of guessing what the Sierra text adventures wanted him to type in. 'Use screen with Carlo' is a beautiful example of that (if you play the game you'll understand)

I received mine, I mistakenly thought there was a proper novel/manual in the box but it's all on the USB Stick. I think the book is available in English so will try to buy that and put it in the box!

Only complaint I really have is the poster was folded in half, then half again to fit in the box but it's creased it in the middle and the print has come off leaving a circular spot with no print on

Hi!

Yes, the graphic was created with AI and then worked with Photoshop / Deluxe Paint / DPaintJS.

Thank you very much!

To be honest I don't know about it, because the book is published by the author itself and we only realized the Amiga game...
