TextEdit requires version 47 of windows.class

I have a new installation of os3.2 and I have applied both updates and the hotfix. In every case I am getting the above message
I re-install amigaOS with or without the updates still the same thing
Has anyone resolved that?
It is pretty annoying.

I guess I resolved it right after the message.
Accidently I was loading the kick3.1 instead of 3.2.2
For some reason UAE goes to the original location of amigaforever location
for the kickstarts

It does do that, but you can change that behaviour if you want. I tend to run in portable mode with relative paths. I then have all my roms, disks etc in sub folders inside WinUAE. It is quite configurable.

It appears that loading the appropriate bootstrap file for your AmigaOS 3.2 installation has already taken care of your issue. When TextEdit tries to use an outdated version of windows.class that isn't compatible with the most recent AmigaOS release, it frequently causes this problem. Assuring that your sys:classes folder contains the most recent version of windows.class (47.20) and that no previous versions of windows.class exist in your sys:libs folder or elsewhere is the answer.
For additional information about TextEdit and windows.class, see the documentation for these two components. TextEdit is a text editor component that allows you to create and edit text files, while windows.class is a GUI class that offers window functionality. You may also observe where TextEdit looks for windows.class and other files by using SnoopDOS, a program that records and monitors your Amiga's system activity.
