BS1 president died :(

Hello,

I post this because i saw on FB that Simon Vergauwen died from a heart attack at 45 years old.

I got the BS1 packs thanks to him, and was able to propose some of them cleaned.

This is way too yound to die

Rest in Peace Simon, and thank you for the BS1 legacy !

Simon was the president and founder of The Belgian Amiga Club. He was also the man who uncovered _and_ archived the (now infamous) BS1 collection. That said, I do not think he was involved with BS1 as a (founding) member.

Aside all of the above, the Amiga community has lost yet another member and yet again, way too soon.

My heart goes to his loved ones... 45 years old man - damn.

What's the story about the BS1 collection? Why is it infamous? I've not been following lots of these things so would appreciate the rundown.

Condolences to Simon's family. Poor blighter was taken too early.

Yup, a real shocker, still can't believe it...he sold my whole Amiga hardware collection back then, as a service, really nice guy, had Amiga in the heart, and went way too soon . RIP Simon, was an honour to know you
