Hello, can something be done that "folding@home" and "BOINC" don`t disturb Sound

I participate in distrubuted Computing whenever I run WinUAE Sound is kind of stuttering even on dual CPU 14 Core... disabling GPU Computing helps a little but Sound is not really accurate!

Thanks for all you have done!

sounds like a boinc problem to me. distributed computing drains lots of ressources of a system.
just try disabling boinc and all its "jobs" at all while running winuae.

i also used to participate in distributed computing in the past, for about five consecutive years.
doing so killed a gpu and a notebook. and i had to pay ultra high electricity bill during that time.

Check your Task Manager how 'busy' your PC is before starting WinUAE and like honx mentioned end those programs that use a lot of CPU.

Not really WinUAE related but rather Windows and your computing software related. You can try adjusting task priority, affinity, and number of tasks.

Yeah, leaving one or two CPU cores for WinUAE (affinity setting) probably "fixes" it.

I run Rosetta@home on Windows 10 and dnetc on AmiKitXE 12, both at the same time and have no problems with playing music ?
