Problem with First Samurai

Hi everyone!
Can someone help me with the correct configuration data for First Samurai?
I am using e-uae on my mac....
First the game crashed always after the logos and rebooted itself endlessly...
I changed the configurations then it went on but had major grafic glitches...
Now the grafic is fine but the game runs too fast....hmmm
I try to emulate an A500 with only 512k.....but it's still too fast...

Help!

Hi busterflex and welcome to EAB!
Check if you have 'cpu_speed=max' in your config. If so change it to 'cpu_speed=real' (same if there is another value in cpu_speed).

Hi and thanks for the quick reply!I checked that out, but it's on real time. Configuration is as followed.Kick 1.3, CPU 68000, 512k of CPU Ram no fast or slow ram!. Seems strange even the loading speed is set to 100%.Can you give me any other hints?

Don't think it's a good idea to go through each setting. I've attached an 'export' of the A500 'most common' quickstart with WinUAE. Not sure how much that'll help, but you could try to set your config accordingly.

Hab's ausprobiert, nur leider sind nun viele grafikfehler aufgetaucht...hmmm..hab schon in anderen Foren gelesen, dass dieselben probleme auftauchen....Ist schon komisch, dass es bei mir nach etlichen veruschen nur in doppelter geschwindigkeit läuft...
Meine normale konfiguration ist sonst ne ganz andere...und fast alle spiele laufen ohne probleme....

What Graham said. Like I said, someone that uses E-UAE should have a look, since I can't test anything here. Maybe Graham can move this one to 'prb.Other UAE'?

just been running First Samurai on E-UAE for OSX, ver. 0.8.29-WIP4 (Intel Build)- seems fine to me, no speed or graphics issues at all.

Ran the WHDload version on my generic HD setup :

- kickstart 3.1, AGA, 2 meg chip, 8 meg fast, 64 meg Z3 ram, CPU 020, Max CPU Speed, JIT Cache=2 meg, openGL rendering = on , Sync with display refresh=on , audio=exact

no compatibility mode, no cycle exact.

nah it's not working at all....now it's the logo screen that reboots all of the time.....
No idea what to do....
But First Samurai was at the times of Amiga 500 don't you think with Kick 1.3 and ECS would be better....
The game works but with double speed....

I have had trouble working this game as well in the past with winuae but works pefectly now with these settings.
These are my settings with winuae but i have never used e-uae so i dont know if this will help.
cpu 68000
cpu 10
ocs
ks 1.2 (a1000)rev 33.166 (256K)
chip 2mb no slow and no fast.
Also tick the "more compatible" option as well for this game.
using original disk 1 of 2 and crystal cracked disk 2 of 2.
enable both drives.
i have also uploaded my winuae adf's and config to the zone if you want it.

@mike...Thanks....hmm I can't change the the chip ram to 2mb ..cause if I set OCS...it's blocked then....hmmm
@horace...Hmm I have to get into the whdload stuff...don't get it right now...

In quickstart mode select A1200 in drop down box and also tick start in quickstart mode.
you should have then 2mb of ram by default and you should be able to adjust your settings from there.
Also tick the "more compatible" option as well for this game.
