Reliable torrents for Amiga Format or CU Amiga cover CDs?
Does anyone know of any place that has the full sets of the above magazine's cover CDs?
I'm going to install a full workbench setup on UAE on a spare machine I have and these had some great demos and programs and art/music etc on them would be nice to shove them all onto a trio of DVDs each or something. Any help appreciated. |

Hi ImmortalA1000,
Magix's EAB File Server hosts these CD sets. Look in the Magazine Cover Disks and CDs/CDs folder. Amiga Format CDs in the ADCD subfolder and CU Amiga CDs in the CUCD subfolder. They are not torrents, but nonetheless reliable for that. Last edited by prowler; 20 July 2009 at 17:24. Reason: Fixed link :o |

Although this is explained in the link prowler gave, Magix's FTP is now a web-based file server, so check this directly instead:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633 Also, in case you really want a torrent, we have a tracker: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=44495 Maybe someone who already has the cover CDs could seed them. |

I've got all the CUCD covers..... I'm just re-packing them now into 7zip instead of zip, then I'll attempt to .torrent them ^^
I'll update this post when I feel like it... I mean, when I think I've been successfull |

Hi Doc,
nice to see you joined the tracker If you are using µTorrent you should have a look here : http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/make-a-torrent/ Guess that's also useful if you are using another client. |

akai... that torrent is uploaded, now leech untill you get .999% :P
Hope it works, Doc EDIT: Would be nice if aomeone/anyone tried the torrent, if nothing else, to see if it works, and give some feed back on whether it does or not Note, I can only spare about 50 kb/S of bandwidth without me GF doing horrible things to me, so please be patient ^^ Last edited by Doc Mindie; 20 July 2009 at 13:20. |

7zip is the devil (for torrents)
Really Torrentzip is the only way to go even if it is 10% or more larger. |

Just drag and drop your already zipped files onto the torrentzip icon.
Chances are if you downloaded them from the internet or newsgroups they would've already been torrentzipped anyway. |

Get a better computer then
Anyway, I have everything torrent zipped as I'm sure many others do so. We could've helped share them but obviously 7zipped there is no chance of that as even if the same settings were used it's extremely unlikely someone else would make a match to those files. |

I've seen some torrent sites experiment with Torrent7z lately. Not much else I know apart from that.
