Question Worms TDC > Custom levels >

Hi guys.

Lately I've had a real urge to play Worms TDC (The Directors Cut)
and even moreso, create my own levels in DPaint or the like.
(Which is especially difficult, as I have abysmal art skills).

Did anyone create their own custom levels ?
Did you upload them anywhere ?

I've had a scout about on Google, and Aminet, and there are very slim
pickings.

Can anyone point me to some decent/good user created levels that they,
or others have created for this awesome game ?

TIA for any help.

I thought there were heaps of Worms levels on Aminet?
There’s also the CD compilation “Oh Yes, More Worms” released by Blittersoft.
Amiga Format and CU Amiga cover CDs probably have some levels, too.

Get a lot of new levels here : https://dream17.abime.net/wormsdc/ (A project converting assets from Worms 2, Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party for use with Worms: The Director's Cut on the Amiga.)

Thanks very much indeed !

In case anyone else is looking I think you will find this link works for getting to the great content for Worms TDC on the equally great Dream17 website - https://dream17.abime.net/softograph...34&s=downloads

It looks like all the Custom levels (under TWCUSTOM) seem to work OK (or at least the game loads without any problems) but I'm getting errors with some of the TWDIY and TWMOUNTAINS content. I haven't fully narrowed it down to which ones cause the problems but with certain files copied into those folders I get a WHDload error - "Exception TRAP #0 ($80) at $8F072E (Task 'Initial CLI', ExpMem $ 10172E) occurred"

Did anyone else get this error or did those extras work OK for you?

I haven't yet tried it with a straight HD install from the ADFs. Maybe that'll sort it (along with the upgrade to V1.05).

UPDATE - Having done a fresh install from the ADFs on the Dream17 site (which included the V1.05 patch) I am no longer getting the error. I'm not sure if the issue was using V1.00 or the WHDload install but it all seems good now and that hopefully means all those custom levels and sets are now playable.

What a great game!
