Games for a 3-4 year old

So, as soon as I began to dust of the old Amiga, my son at 3, 1/2 was interested.

He loves typing on my old typewrite - of course, the result is gibberish - but he loves it. And now that the old Amiga is back, and similarly to the typewriter and everything else that dad does, he wants to do the same.

Now for the real reason for this post - as I'm rediscovering the Amiga I really don't remember all the good old games at this point - so I need your help.

Which great games or applications, if any, exists that a 3-4 year old will be entertained by?

Educational games ?

I don't know, just take a look to TOSEC stuff on the eab file server under "Educational" folder

Perhaps some games are OK for your son

Try Thomas the Tank engine pinball. Easy to control and increases their reaction speeds which will help them in other parts of life. Showing them to aim for certain switches will increase their awareness.

When I was at this age, my fav games were Moon Patrol, Kangaroo and Frostbite on the 2600.

My parents gave me a joystick when I was way too young, no wonder I turned out this way.

Point is that to be able to get access to the EAB File Server i.e. 50 posts; it really isn't too high and takes most people less than a month to achieve.

Have you played it? It’s genuinlly the hardest car game I have ever played. So I can’t imagine how a child would get on with it. The controls are unlike your usual top down game. Try it if you haven’t.

I have played it, can barely remember the gameplay. I think I got to grips with it eventually, I'm sure a child will be motivated by the topic.

Bubble Bobble is a popular one with my 5 year old daughter. I think its because you can be accidently good at it and you get plenty of credits to share on 2 player. We get to round 14 - 15 most times.

Pang is also a good one you can have fun playing together but can get frustrating as the game stops if one of you gets hit by a ball.

Going to try Dyna blaster next to see if she can play that.
