Possible DAT?
Withe the thread talking about collection sizes I thought I really should upload my stuff.
Would it be possible for you to create a datfile on the uploads directory so I can only upload stuff that isn't already there? Probably take ages but will stop dupes |

Previously I've done a combined .DAT file, see here: Amiga - Latest Public DATS Combined (TOSEC-v2007-03-14) & (TOSEC-v2017-04-23)
... Commodore Amiga - Latest Public DATS Combined (TOSEC-v2017-04-23).zip Guess I should do one for the latest TOSEC Commodore Amiga ones to make things easier for people: https://www.tosecdev.org/downloads/c.../42-2018-04-01 Last edited by DamienD; 06 July 2018 at 19:35. |

Ok, have now created a single combined .DAT from the latest available TOSEC ones i.e. TOSEC-v2018-04-01
This .DAT contains all of the following: Quote:

The post above is a combined .DAT file that people can run all their files through; anything not identified should be uploaded for future TOSEC inclusion |

Ok, have re-read your posts in this thread Ian...
Think I now get what it is you're after; you want Turran to make a DAT file of all EAB File Server content. Is that correct? ...think this will be very difficult to do and absolutely huge I mean, there is this file in the root of the server that I believe get's auto-updated: filelist.zip |

I run my unknown directory through the dats every time there is a TOSEC release so there's no point, nothing that I am uploading is in TOSEC.

LOL, got the size of the wrong folder, the one I am uploading is only 20gbs (35,932 files) the other 30 odd gb are ISOs that are recent compos from AmigaJay and Earok etc, not point uploading them as they are already there and about 5gb of Atari ST stuff that I also won't be uploading.

Hi Ian,
thank you for the files you have made available, it is an interesting source when analyzing to update TOSEC sets. I started working on your files through the game Defender of the Crown. Not TOSEC Renamed/Ripped CD files/AMIGA_CD01/DSK0039.DMS.adf Not TOSEC Renamed/Ripped CD files/GOLD1/defenderofthecrowndisk1-2.dms.adf Various/DSK0039.adf The 3 files in question are non-functional because badly converted or damaged in source. Can you tell me the origin of these files? |
