68060 issue

Hi

After a <insert adjective here> long layoff I have decided I need a working A1200 again (withdrawl ftw!)

Some of you may remember I was trying to put all my bits in a tower, which worked fine until the PSU let go with an extremely nasty smell. (thread here)

I've now got round to putting the bits back together in a desktop case for the time being and its running fine on the External 250 watt PSU. I have thus far got my Indivision Scandoubler going, and a 4GB Hitachi Microdrive, with SFS, OS 3.5 and the two Boing bags. I have not yet tried to install the Idefix express adapter,, although the 4 port splitter is working fine.

Now for the painful bit:

I initially (re)built this machine with my Typhoon 030 card installed, which fortunately I have kept. I installed the new 68040 and 68060 libs from the web and then turned off to put my Blizzzard 1260 in. Upon power up I get the indivision splash screen and then a blank black screen.. Now either I'm not installing it right or when the PSU blew it took the 060 with it

I should also mention that the tower Motherboard was a Rev 1D4 with 3.1 Roms (which I still have) This Desktop is a 1D1 (also with 3.1 Roms) could this have a bearing on the 060 not wanting to play ? I suppose I could swap boards over and see.....

EDIT:- *Rubs lucky Rabbits foot*

1D4 Rocketed into workbench - connected 060 with a much more satisfying *clunk* than on the 1D1.... So will build the 1D4 into the desktop and use the 030 in the 1D1....

1D1 boards needs the E123C and E125C removed in order to work with faster accelerators (040 onwards). Stedman's place says the hack is only necessary on 1D4 and 2B boards.

Don't count on it. I need to remove those two buggers to my 1D1 work with 040 & 060 boards.
