Cracked games

Back in the old days I had my fair share of copied/cracked games - like most I guess. Quite a few of them had some really awesome intros complete with music and cool animations; - in fact, some times I loaded a game just to watch the cracked intro

What happened to all these cool crack-intros? Many of the ADFs I find seem to be an image of the original game... however, while I love the games, I'd love to find all these intros again.

Do a vault or similar exist for those?

You're just using the wrong .ADFs.

I too love cracktros / trainers; so in my collection you will find all that old school goodness

This "Paradox" cracktro from Ivan ''Ironman'' Stewart's Super Off Road is an absolute classic:

Still remember the first time I saw it.

Sites like planetemu are also a good option if you're unable to find it on janeway/pouet. Of course this means downloading the entire disk image instead of just a small executable.

Hey D!
First off ... yes, yes and yes! The Paradox cracktro is fantastic! I remember the first time I watch it and I was completely baffled - partly because of my parents being in the same room back then. I simply cannot wait to watch all of the old cracktros (is that really a word we use?) I remember.

I just clicked on you link to find your compilation. And wow, it looks awesome - but frankly - and maybe it's just because I'm new to this forum - I cannot find the download link? Do I need to download all 23 update packs?

No, pouet is for demos / intros / cracktro etc...

Hewitson is talking about PlanetEmu but it's horribly out of date in terms of files / names.

You're best grabbing the latest TOSEC stuff from the EAB File Server under Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC

Thanks D! Still working on earning the rights to a user on the EAB Filer Server I can see that there's a lot of stuff to look forward to in there!
