Lords of the Rising Sun

Hey all, I'm looking for a copy of Lords of the Rising Sun. The good one, not the instant ninja death one. That ninja never stops you know. I kept doing state saves and must have blocked 50 of those flying stars before finally giving up. Anyway, I havent been able to actually play this game properly since when I owned an Amiga as a kid, it'd be nice to play it again.

Use these disks:
Code:
Lords of the Rising Sun (1989)(Cinemaware)(NTSC)(Disk 1 of 2)(Reel 1)[cr Demoniac]
Lords of the Rising Sun (1989)(Cinemaware)(NTSC)(Disk 2 of 2)(Reel 2)
You can find them on the EAB file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633) in the folder 'Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC/Games/[ADF] (TOSEC-v2012-12-24_CM)/L'.

Wondering if someone has reached to free the imprisoned princess and see the sequence in this game?
Like in Defender of the crown, also Lord of the rising sun should have a similar sequence (prolly a bit improved, due the year of release?)

If i remember correctly the Cinemaware infos at time, you had to forced play with Yoritomo, with all the arcade sequence / battles enabled, and you should find her randomly, after conquering a particular enemy castle... so not properly an easy task, compared to DotC

someone remember to have reached in this?

oh, the man that did the proper crack
so nothing special... do you remember if my foggy infos are correct, Yoritomo only and randomly position?

i have completed many times this game in past using Yoshitsune, i would like to do an attempt with Yoritomo + winuae save combo

Random location is most likely correct. I saved the princess in Kagoshima. Yoshitsune was who I played. The arcade sequences were enabled as you have to enter the castle, going through the courtyards.

Can I ask a question about the gameplay? I tried the game back when it was released and and although it looked like a game I would really enjoy (check that scrolling map of Japan out) I continually got frustrated with sudden death from Ninjas with Shuriken etc. If I go back and persevere, is there a good game in there, that you don't need Jedi reflexes to play?

It was mostly a bad crack issue, before the correct Demoniac crack, or original .ipf's
Basically, if you use Yoritomo, you got kill at start by ninjas, fortune this has been fixed.
You can play with the other character, Yoshitsune, the game is easier in that way, because you can choose what arcade sequence to play.
I can say this is a good game indeed, strategic and atmoshperic, but yes still a bit too difficult to play with Yoritomo

You can rescue the princess with the other brother but you will have to play the castle siege arcade sequence in order to free her.
