whdload noob questions

I have ftp'd whdload across to my A1200 and got it installed.

I have ftp'd across some whdload .lha game files for the games I have on disk, and unpacked them.

I then run the game install programs from the downloaded files, and whdload runs and tries to do its stuff.

The problems I get seem to vary but basically none of the games work. They either give Out of Memory errors [I think this is when whdload is using rawdic to create the floppy images], or something about Exp memory when I try to run the game [in the case of games that do install successfully].

Would appreciate some pointer as to what's going on here.

Is it for example that I need to have a memory upgrade? My A1200 is stock.

1. No need to install the games, get them already preinstalled here:

2. Indeed you should buy a memory expansion or turbocard, if you want the full joy of WHDLoad. 4-8 MB ram is enough for the most games. Try 1-disk WHDLoad games like Turrican or Hybris, they work on a stock A1200.

What Workbench do you have? i have a list of games that should work on a stock 1200, i created this while i had cwb adv on there but have now changed to lite so need to make a few changes.
