WANTED: Atari ST/STe wanted
Mines just died... terminally!
So I want either an STFM or an STE, got to work, not fussed if they are only 520's as I have extra memory kicking around to turn them into 1040's. I'm in the UK, and need one pronto. |

Given who you are I am sure someone over here would donate one.
http://forum.dbug-automation.co.uk/c.../yabb2/YaBB.pl Is the keyboard on your old one intact? Pretty sure loads of people will have ones with dodgy keyboards they'd let you have for postage. |

Yes keyboard is intact as well. Apparently the ramboard its got in it is quite rare, able to increase ram to 4mb. |

I know of them, Marpet. Pretty sure there are many different types of that RAM card for the many different STfm motherboards. You might struggle to get it to fit your next one.
Like I said, hold onto your keyboard as it is usually the first thing to break due to the crappy joystick / mouse ports. Still worth posting over at the Dbug forum, the majority are true sceners. |

Thanks to DoogUK, I no longer need an ST.... I now have a pair of STe's!!
Both work pretty well, i've just tried Turrican original on the STe, and I have to say, the title music is a damned good rendition of the Amiga original. I'm not sure if its enhanced for STe or whether the STFM has the same music, but its not bad. Obviously the ingame music is pants. |
