Spare A2000 keys ?

The right Alt key on my old but lovely A2000 keyboard has broken off. Now whilst this is not the end of the world its annoying as I plan to use the keyboard with my A1200 tower.

A friend has offered me his Duff A500+ keyboard to scavenge but I don't know if the keytops/ bit that they sit on are compatible....

this is the offending doofrey....

I have FOL @ Amigakit kinda on the case but was wondering......

Any help appreciated

Andrew

Change the keycap AND stem (the stem is what you took a photo of) from the A500 keyboard and they will fit just fine.

Note that the A500's keys are glossy and the big box kbd has matte keys, so it will look a bit out of place, but that's the only caveat.

When you remove the keycaps, pull straight up. No bending.
