This post relates to my announcement about first stable version of Dolphin (Gamecube emulator) being released.

About PLAYBACK :
I don't think the slightly below 100% speed would detract too many people from enjoying watching these, but if it does, then I'll let you know about a couple of tricks to speed up flash based videos playback (cf. the shareware I zoned).

Head to :
[ Show youtube player ]
I've deleted all the previous WIP videos (lame framerate because of too high resolution, 4:3 aspect not valid for Youtube HD playback...)
Serious stuff (HD, >85% speed...) starts with this video, subsequent Dolphin captures from that playlist will probably use the same blueprint.

It's intentional. I did it so that HD could be opt for. YouTube doesn't offer 4:3 (5:4) HD yet. Does it appear more or less stretched in 1680x1050 ? No one commented it yet.

You can do 4:3 HD like

and pretty much any ratio and make it HD
[ Show youtube player ]

And if for some reason it doesn't work you can just add boarders to the sides to make it 16:9

Ive upped a re-recording of We come in Peace by Elude. Final release version has a UAE compile which runs better (but has a visual bug/error midway). Audio is better synced this time as well as smoother fps.

[ Show youtube player ]

Ive upped a vid of Lightshaft by elude also. Experimenting with 720p capture. It can look rough.. and sharp !

[ Show youtube player ]

and finaly, Step by Step by Elude to complete the set

Hi,

I posted a quick sample of the ‘mouse jam’ feature in Instant Music from Electronic Arts. I spent hours using this program as a teenager – I still remember buying it from Micro Fun in Rotherham, happy days….

Hello

Back in the 90's I used to make animations on my Amiga 500+ using Deluxe Paint IV, mostly very small ones involving the torturing of Lemmings (the blue ones with green hair of course!). More recently, 2007 to be precise, I decided to create a new one using WinUAE, to emulate an A1200 with more memory so I could do a much bigger animation; Lemming Torture 2007 was the result. I put it on YouTube and I've got around 800 views, I'd hoped for a lot more though.

Last week I completed my brand new animation, Lemming Torture 2010. I'm pretty pleased with this one, it took a hell of a long time to make.

I'd really appreciate it if you could all have a look and leave me comments, whether you like them or not.

The conversion to FLV looses some definition from the original MPG (which is also a conversion of an AVI), they should be watched in full screen but the image quality suffers.
