PHANTASIE
http://hol.abime.net/1042 Started off by playing the Amiga version with WHDload. In the WHDload version some of the text goes off the screen too fast to read so I decided to take a look at the Atari ST version - glad I did. The ST version has a better interface and more sound and spell effects making it a much better experience. |

On the topic of Lemmings, the Atari ST had a slight enhancement compared to the Amiga version:

So why did you feel the need to delete your original comment and have the goddamn nerve to taunt the person who reacted to it before the deletion?

Foebane, if you really want to talk about the sound chip of the ST and its merits (or lack of) you can start a new thread.
I quite agree with britelite that is not a nice thing to post something, delete it and then behave as it had not been posted. But anyway, now that the Gilbert/mcgeezer front has settled down, it would be nice if the thread did not derail again.... |

@Lilalurl Again, apologies. I guess I shouldn't have posted on this thread at all, it was bound to rile me up sooner or later. Sorry, after 30 years, I'm still the Amiga zealot. |

Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon on the Atari ST is much better than the rubbish Amiga version; and like all other versions.
When young, I originally purchased / played the C64 version Luckily meynaf kindly ported this to the Amiga: Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon - Different Versions Amiga: Last edited by DamienD; 03 January 2021 at 13:40. |

I can't remember for sure but wasn't North and South a little bit better on the Atari ST?

Try them both and get back to me with your findings instead of posting an inane reply with no substance.
It's not a graphics and sound pissing contest with this game to be sure. The ST version is a better experience for those who wish to play it. Simple as that. |

Zandig, as a moderator I can confirm Galahad's post. dreadnought's post was not aimed at yours.
Feel free to PM me if you want more details (although you can guess a bit by reading the thread), as we would like the thread to move further and back on topic. Quote:
