Hi all,

Whilst so far, I have not contributed here, I have been following the thread with interest.

I scanned this article from Amiga Computing December 1990 issue 31.
It might interest some of you.

It would be nice to get our hands on a version of Medusa before Brains/CODX got their 'skills' to work on it!

I don't suppose anyone has a software version that isn't molested do they?

I dont have a better version of Medusa -
there are some other ST Emulators with the same level of compatiblity - dont know if there of any intrest or any better cracked - think they all use DOS2DOS for reading disks

Anyone know if theres a version/hack of TOS that works on 68030+

Can 360kb -Single sided disk be copied to DD disks?
If I copy the files from 360/Sundog disk to 720kb disk the game no longer runs.

Sundog is combined dos and sector loading, so copying those two file off the disk are not enough.

If you find an Atari disk copier (whole disk, sector-by-sector and not file-per-file), I suppose you could copy (in emulation environment) a 360KB disk to a 720KB disk. You just have to copy one side only.
Unless the game has a strong disk protection which the Atari copier can't handle/copy...

Tos 1.4and greater is supposed to be CPU independent. I've booted TOS 3.x on an ST from floppy and that worked OK. It's TT TOS so it should work. I'm sure I managed to get chameleon working on my blizzard before too.

Have a look on the EAB file server in the folder 'TOSEC/Applications/[ADF]/M'.

Thank you TheCyberDruid,

First of all, sorry for my badly english and thank you very much to
try inderstanding the next words.

So, I would like to use Atari emulators like Amtari inside WinUAE.
Amtari and other emulators seems to work fine under WinUAE but...
I have an big problem.
I cant insert Atari floppies to play with Atari software.
A lot of Atari software is on Trackload mode like on Amiga
:-(

I thought to use .st and .msa files but WinUAE doesn't support them :-(
I tryed to do an ADF file from Atari floppies without succes.

Do you know a way to insert Atari stuff inside WinUAE to play with emulators?

Thank you very much

You should copy Atari disk images to directory where you made virtual hard drive for Amiga.

Hmm, why don't you just use an Atari ST emulator sergius? Doesn't make much sense to use an emulator to run an emulator to me...

you're right.
The goal is just to revive old Atari emulators.
Maybe to write a review for Obligement, an Amiga french site ;-)

.st is supported. You sure that ST emulator supports real disks?

What !!!??? Wonderfull. If WinUAE supports .st image files, i'll find the reason. Maybe changing the Atari emulator ;-)

Does it support .msa files?

Thank you very much.
