Fantastic work Lennon!
I've translated your guide in Italian, and now I'm working on my compilation some questions: 1) How I can change the picture in the frontend? 2) How I can create game categories? Thanks |

lennonlives last login was in May, so you might want to try to reach him via email.

Got my cd32 setup running again, damn fine work lenonlives!
Tweaking startup scripts in realtime using winuae almost feels like cheating. |

Can ANYONE create a splash for Alien Breed 3D using this (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yyvhtePWM1...n_breed_3d.png) image?
I couldn't convert the palette even if my life depended on it, it seems. I've converted the AMS.iff to PNG using Grafx2 (awesome app, btw), loaded up the AB3D-screenshot in GIMP and resized the image to 320x128, converting the color scheme to indexed using the palette from AMS.iff, and converted the image to LBM with IFF file extension in Grafx2. What am I doing wrong? |

Hi,
This is the first time that I ve attempted something more than playing games on the Amiga - basically I was hoping to create a best of Amiga pd cd for the cd32 using this toolkit - unfortunately I have not been able to get the following games to work: Alien Bash 2 - DOS-Error #205 (object not found) on reading "OSEmu.400" Eric - just goes to black screen Bagitman - returns DOS-Error #205 (object not found) on locking data dir "bagitman" Bobs Garden - just resets to menu All the above games are whdload versions and I am sure I have amended the start doc correctly and saved the slave file and game folder in the correct areas. Has anyone had an success with setting up a pd whdload game and would be prepared to give me a few pointers. I must confess I am very inexperienced with Amiga file systems etc so please excuse my ignorance but I am keen to learn inorder to produce a top 100 public domain game cd. Thanks in advance. |

Update - created and burned the cd to try on real cd32 - same problems for all games except Erik which did load - but very long load -
Confused at moment why Erik loads and the other don't - are there common errors to look for and common changes to start document to try? |

Yes OSEmu.400 is copied over - I think I ve worked out some of the issues-
Erik works as I copied it over from the 888 compliation disk and changed the start document. It works on a real cd32 but loads after a long time but on the Winuae it seems to just get caught in the black screen or maybe i am just to impatient without seeing the flickering drive light. Alien Bash 2 although copied from the 888 doesn't work but this could be the start file which i need to look at - if I replicate the start up in 888 and make sure I have all corresponding files copied over I think that should work too The Whdload games I think don't work as I will need to install the disk image either in winae or on a real amiga and then copy back to the compliation disk the corresponding files ? These I am assuming are just currently the install files rather than the files with the game data which shouldn't be a problem as I already have the disk images for the games I am looking to include but will also take time to install and then copy files back again. I can understand Whdload not containing disk images of commercial games but I thought for pd games it would have been ok to have everything ready to go - are complete file sets available elsewhere on the web? The load for Erik does seem long (2 mins?) and the disk as a whole takes longer than the 888 disk and the assassin games cds - I have tried to speed things up by removing the picture images from the menu - are there any other ways to speed up the load times? - I guess I ve just got used to the speed of the Amiga 1200 with blizzard and extra memory. Thanks |
