Is there anything there that's missing from "Commodore Amiga - Games - SPS (TOSEC-v2018-03-05)"?
See this thread: Locating / sorting / uploading .IPFs... If not, then you wasted your time... |

Does this also mean links to websites hosting IPF's are now allowed?

Guess I should start this off:
... Edge Emulation ... GameTronik ... EmuParadise ... eLowar's site Mind you, we probably have everything from the above and more on the EAB File Server under: /Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC [2016-01-03] /Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC Updates/TOSEC Release (v2018-04-01) updates |

The ones I've got back, Menace, Shockwave and Unreal are already available. Denis did send me Gazza II, not sure if that's in the wild though, but sharing it might upset Denis unless he's OK for it to be shared?

Denis will be able to confirm if Amstrad/C64 IPF's exist, but seeing how some Spectrum +3 IPF's exist I'd guess Amstrad IPF's exist too, don't think C64 IPF's exist yet although G64 images are available from EmuParadise that loosely represent what an IPF would regards data and copy protections!

If so, and now have the .IPF, then you can do what you want with it. Well, that's my understanding of SPS team rules anyway ...but totally up to you / Denis at the end of the day. No one is being forced to share anything; it's a personal decision. |

From a quick look, there are these (and probably more in "update" directories) on the EAB File Server under:
/Commodore_C64/TOSEC/2016-11-11/Games/[G64] |

More G64's here:
~Uploads/Retroplay/UnRenamed Files/Commodore (v2018-05-26)/UnRenamed Files - Commodore 8Bits/Commodore C64 files [G64] parts 1 to 6 ~Uploads/Retroplay/UnRenamed Files/Commodore (v2018-05-26)/UnRenamed Files - Commodore 8Bits/Commodore C128 files [G64] ~Uploads/Retroplay/UnRenamed Files/Commodore (v2018-05-26)/UnRenamed Files - Commodore 8Bits/Commodore C16 files [G64] ~Uploads/Retroplay/UnRenamed Files/Commodore (v2018-05-26)/UnRenamed Files - Commodore 8Bits/Commodore PET files [G64] ~Uploads/Retroplay/UnRenamed Files/Commodore (v2018-05-26)/UnRenamed Files - Commodore 8Bits/Commodore VIC20 files [G64] Since CRC is unknown for SPS C64 G64 images, there's no way to tell if any if these match official SPS releases, I doubt they do though. Retroplay, I have a question, how come Times of Lore has never been dumped as a TAP file? No one has it, or it has a weird protection?

My best guess is nobody has a working original tape to dump.
I've never heard of any C64/128 tapes not being able to be properly dumped. All the tapes I've dumped (and submitted to TOSEC) with my Ultimate-II all worked perfectly fine. You might want to keep an eye out at the tape thread at Lemon64: http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=67726 Who knows, it might turn up sooner or later. [edit] Actually, it's already uploaded there in "Lemon64 .TAP Uploads" folder: TIMESOLC.TAP (Character/Intro) TIMESOLG.TAP (Game) Last edited by Retroplay; 02 July 2018 at 09:17. |
