After reboot, new demo I get a requester very fast that is difficult to read before Amiga 4000 reboots again into workbench. please replace Ram_0 in device JUMP? With the old demo that does not reboot system nothing happen. The R bit you are talking about tells me nothing. Sorry. Never had problems with files I unpacked before. On my A1200 Blizzard 030 the old demo work great. The new demo I have not tried on that hardware. edit: I did a video so you can see. 'R' is the 'Read' attribute. Use any file manager to view the file attributes in the game folder. It is possible that the attributes of the files have changed during unpacking zip archive and some files don't have the 'R' attribute.

I tried the exact same archive that I used on A4000 and it works perfect on A1200 with Blizzard IV.
I also have 3.0 ROM on my A1200. If you do not have anyone that can test on A4000 I'm here. Just pm me. Not that it matters, but I would remove 14MHz to not make any confusion regarding hardware requirements. From homepage. Hardware requirements: Amiga 1200 14MHz with at least 6MB of fast ram. This configuration ensures full gameplay smoothness. |

Project update:
The demo version showed that there are still compatibility issues with some fast Amiga models and Vampire cards. I need time to deal with this problem. I've made a decision that the release of the game will be postponed to September. |

That's a very standard test. Without Startup-Sequence.. I've used with and without SetPatch. Anyway, since the update, I've used the Reboot option from the Icon and it has worked, mostly. The 68060.library, and SetPatch aren't in use when the RAMDrive is used. Though I could make that possible. |

So far v1.10 did pretty well with my A4000 CSPPC/060 Rev 6, though the game would freeze or crash in some ways. Sometimes a power off, allow 5 seconds, power on...boot to OS 3.5 or OS 3.2.1..and the game would do well from then.
V1.16 so far is doing well. Either from RAMDisk (reboot) or from a little IconX script I made (not any rebooting). I've also updated your script some, I don't like lack of punctuation. ;-) I'm not sure why a 10 second "wait" was added, I don't know of a Filesystem that needs that long. Hmm.. I changed it to 2. So, several more power on tests to do. It's a fun game, visually!! I play it muted most times. I really dig the idea. It's not a normal platform game. I consider most of those very boring very quickly. |

I think it's a system file which the game doesn't like, because another user reports the game works on its V4SA.
My V4SA uses latest official Core 8 and OS 3.9 with Kick 45.064 (Coffin rom), but I also tested the game with Apollo rom and Kick 3.2.1. So I think the problem must be a system file, but SnoopDOS didn't help me. Which system files the game use ? Thanks. |

It's not using any System files, if you mean OS files. Which is one of the reasons the game functions with RAMDisk. Only files it reads are the game files. It's using hardware...that's for sure. Are you playing from the newly included Icon/Script? Last edited by AC/DC HACKER!; 04 June 2022 at 04:38. |

Maybe he means file system? How about copying the game to ram and trying it from there?
