100% cracked working version of Hook in ADF form - Page 2

I have the "Technobrains" italian version here, but unfortunately Disk 3 seems to be corrupted(nearly empty Disk).

Stick it all in the zone if you would please Mai, i'm struggling to remember, but it might be that disks 3 and 4 of the English and Spanish versions are exactly the same.

Upload what you have, and it might be enough to produce a working Italian version.

Thanks for that Mai, as I suspected, the Italian version is.... incorrectly cracked!

Again, no special attention was paid to the ingame Copylocks, simply forcing a serial key and not setting a bit as the three separate Copylocks do.

Have not checked, if it is on the fileserver, but both in the zone now.

Bless you Mai, you're one of the greats!

The CRC for the Spanish Disk 3 and English Disk 3 are different, so i'm not sure if I can create a working disk 3 for the Italian version, but i'll delve into it deeper and then see.

It might just be some slight difference in parts of the disks but not the important data that needs to be read.

EDIT: Right, seems like I was wrong. The English version was imaged using DIC and the Spanish version was not, so where the Copylock track used to be on the English version is now filled with the text 'TDIC', where as the Spanish version is blank.

So I might well be able to salvage the Italian version after all.

Sorry for bringing up this old thread again, I stumbled across the forum while looking for a working version of Hook...

I was wondering if somebody still has the fully cracked english version flying around somewhere and could upload it to the zone?

Its more than likely the same version(cracked by TechnoBrains) i gave to Galahad some decades

ago.

Anyway, if you have any italian version of a game. which is not currently in TOSEC, please upload.

I uploaded one on the root and one on the tosec/games, but i don't see it, can you control if is ok?
