Floppy disk SSF2 AGA DX V1.1 (WHDload)

An updated WHDload version is in the Zone!
I fixed three backgrounds.

@Boo Boo:
Would you please replace Stage4.dat, Stage7.dat and StageC.dat of the CD32 version?

Thanks!

Have you put the new version to the http://amigachristmastree.pspuae.com/ website?

I am new here but I still wanted to say thank you to you two guys for this. I haven't downloaded it yet because I can never get into the damned Zone but still it's great that you guys have done this

PS Is this game any good and did the A1200/AGA version have 256 colour graphics? they don't look it in the magazine reviews I was reading certainly not as good screenshots as SSF2T.

You won't find it there anymore, but you can find it on Magix FTP (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=38697) in the folder 'The Zone!' (use a FTP client)

You´re welcome. He he...

The AGA backgrounds are in 64 colours.
I assume that each sprite uses 16 colours.

This game is awesome gameplay wise but SSF2T has better gfx.
Check it out! It´s worth it.

2 problems....

1. My CD32 PSU has gone missing
2. The Zone part of the FTP site never works when I click on it via IE 7

I have a competion pro pad for the CD32 as well so will be a good game for my CD32

I grabbed the other link but I don't know if that is the fixed version or needs the backgrounds adding. I'm sure it plays better, US Gold never were any good at Amiga graphics anyway

That's why I said that you have to use a FTP client. Your browser times out, because of the number of files in that folder

Send a message via ICQ to Magix
Question

Maybe, it is time to rearrange The Zone! Folder. Year-Month or A to Z. What you think?

I would say an A-Z split would be a good idea The year/month folders are harder to search IMO.

It´s V.1.0 of our DX version, I guess.

Just PM me your email address and I´ll send you V.1.1 when I´m back home.

I don't find anymore any download for this version... Even the files from en EAB File Server although the zip name is the "DX" version, actually is the regular SSF2 AGA. Can you reupload to the zone, please?

Regards,

Salva

I cleaned up the badly converted backgrounds (wrong pixels etc.) and improved some gradients and other stuff.
