Wow it seems to work! i'm going to do more testing...
What do you think about two players? Because on input options I have American Laser Games Right and Left trigger, but I don't have LightpenHorizontal and Vertical for Right and Left player...

Nice

Two player require extra support code because Amiga only have hardware support for single lightpen. Light gun multiplexing ALG hardware is not yet emulated.

I assume you have two light guns?

yes I have two lightguns. They work nice, and games like Gallagher are really enjoyable dual mode.

It seems there are many games (Aliex, Pow, Crazyshot, Wesphaser, and many more) that now will be fully playable, many thanks!

Totally untested ALG player #2 light gun support added. ("American Laser Games Lightpen Horizontal #2" and vertical" in Input list)

It works perfect, amazing!
There were a few two player alg games and marbella vice and los justicieros, that were not rreally alg games.

Hopefully ALG support is really done now

(Of course remaining problem is finding those LD images, but fortunately it is not my problem!)

I was triying maddog2 with the video uploaded here, and can't play two players, wasn't it a two player game? I have seen the arcade cabinet with two guns attached as for crime patrol 1 and2

Does service menu have same options (both players) as Gallagher?

(I am not really interested in trying to test this.. Someone else needs to confirm this first)

In mad dog2 you can set two players f4om the service menu. Amazing, many thanks!

I sporadically do a search to see if anyone has had any luck emulating Mad Dog McCree, and the other games, but never had much luck in finding anything until today!

But I notice the alg roms aren't in the zone anymore. Is there any chance of a reup please?

You will find them on the EAB File Server under "TheZone/files"

Just search for "alg"...

Awesome! Got Mad Dog mostly working.

Can't see to get the trigger to fire. The screen flashes white as if I'm shooting away from the screen.

Pretty sure everything is set up properly according to the first post.

Unfortunately I'm not much help regarding this... Haven't even tried to setup any ALG games as yet...

Though I'm sure someone who has this working will assist you once they've read your post

It always flashes white when pressing trigger. Most light gun games back at the day do it to guarantee beam detection. Of course in emulation it is not needed and only looks annoying

Start with service menu and calibration screen, easiest to way to see if buttons/trigger works.

The buttons work fine, and I can move the yellow cursor around, but the trigger doesn't shoot.

If I untick NTSC mode in Chipset menu it starts to fire, i.e. you get a bullet impact and noise, but it only fires at a single point on screen, regardless of where you're aiming.

I've tried calibration, but it still only fires at a single point.

You need to describe your hardware (is it lightpen or mouse or what?), include config file and preferably logs too.

Using a Logitech G502 mouse, set up as a windows mouse in WinUAE.

Switch right trigger -> left trigger. It may have been incorrect originally or instruction was written before 2 player was fully implemented.

Given that a try. It made Gallagher's Gallery work, but not Mad Dog.
